Christ Church 11.00am Holy Communion

St John ’s 9.30am Holy Communion  

Home group meetings - Monday evening at Richard and Maguy Austin’s home. Wednesday evening - please ring 402548 for venue and time. Friday, 24 April - at Nesta Hanson’s home, The Retreat, Cliff Road, Lake – starts at 10.00am.

St John’s Church is open on Thursday mornings from 10.00am to 12.00 noon. If you feel that you would like a time of quiet prayer or reflection do pop along or if you need someone to chat to. More volunteers are needed man the church during this time - so if you think you could help for an hour do please sign the list at the back of church. Thank you very much.

Christ Church Annual Parochial Church Meeting is on Sunday, 26April and will be held after the service of Holy Communion.

Thursday, 23 April - Georgie Porter will be holding an Afternoon Tea at 82 Broadway, Sandown (with kind permission of Conrad and Georgina Kirvan) from 2.30-4.00pm. Cream teas, home made cakes and raffle. Proceeds are going to Street Pastors. 

Mothers’ Union - Alison Feak has kindly offered to give a talk to the evening meeting on Tuesday, 21 April at 7.30pm.

The afternoon meeting for May will be on Thursday, 7 May at 2.15pm when Mrs Pauline Wale is the speaker. Both meetings are being held in Christ Church Hall.

Mothers’ Union are also having a Bring and Share Supper in the Lounge at Cliff Court, Cliff Road, Lake on Friday, 1 May at 7.00pm to welcome the new members and celebrate Nesta Hanson’s commissioning. They would like to invite members of Christ Church and St John’s to come and join them. Unfortunately children are not able to be invited due to the venue.
